A new review in Trends in Genetics

Genome-wide studies of DNA G- and C-quadruplexes (G4s and i-motifs, respectively) can boost the pace of progress towards a comprehensive understanding of their biological implications and practical applications in plants. In this review, we summarize the current state of knowledge about omics studies in order to highlight the current challenges and propose future directions to take studies of plant quadruplexes to the next step.
